Van tyre fitting
A van tyre is a different carcass, a higher load index, and often a yard rather than a driveway. Treat it as its own job and the visit goes better.
What to read off the sidewall
Size, load index, and whether it is a reinforced or commercial marking. A car tyre that happens to share the diameter is not a substitute. Twin rear wheels need space around the arch and a jacking point that is actually safe. If you know the size, put it on the form so we do not arrive with the wrong stock.
Where vans usually are
Depots, retail parks, and the side of a round that stopped early. Height barriers catch mobile vans as well as yours. Mention them. We cover these the same way as car mobile tyre repair, with the time confirmed for that postcode. Regional notes are on the coverage pages.
Repair or replace
The same tread and sidewall rules apply. A commercial tyre that has been run under-inflated often looks repairable from the outside and is scrap once it is off the rim. We will show you. If it is a puncture that passes, it is repaired. If not, it is a new tyre, fitted on site.
