Terms of a call-out
These terms cover a booking made by phone or by the form on this site.
The quote
A figure given on the phone or after we have seen the tyre is the price for that piece of work. We do not start the paid work until you have heard it. If the tyre turns out to be unrepairable, we stop and price the replacement before fitting it. You can say no.
A place we can work
We can refuse a location that is illegal or unsafe to jack: a live lane, a steep camber, or a bay the van cannot reach. We may ask you to move a short distance. If you are on a motorway, follow the Highway Code first. We do not ask you to change a tyre in a live lane.
Repairs we will not do
We will not finish a job with an outside-only rope plug, and we will not patch a sidewall or a tyre that is already below the legal tread depth. The technician's inspection decides it.
Your part
You need the locking wheel nut key if one is fitted, and you need authority to ask for the work on that vehicle. Times given are estimates. Traffic and an unsafe scene change them. Mobile Tyre Repair, 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX.
